23037 - Integrated Supply Chain Leadership Seminar
Program Description
Today's supply chains have become one of an organization's greatest sources of competitive advantage.
Organizations are asking supply chain leaders to do far more than improve operations. They are expected to strengthen organizational resilience, accelerate enterprise performance, integrate decisions across functions, and help build global capability.
The Integrated Supply Chain Leadership Seminar prepares experienced professionals to meet those expectations.
Rather than focusing solely on functional excellence, participants examine how supply chain leadership drives enterprise strategy, financial performance, customer experience, operational resilience, and long-term competitive advantage.
Drawing upon Michigan State University's internationally recognized supply chain faculty and executive education experience with leading organizations, participants leave prepared to lead integrated supply chains that strengthen the enterprise.
Participants may further extend their experience through an optional two-day Supply Chain Strategy Workshop, held at the James B. Henry Center for Executive Education. The workshop provides an opportunity to return to MSU with a current organizational challenge, opportunity, or strategic initiative and work alongside MSU Broad Supply Chain Management faculty and peers to move it forward.
Through faculty coaching, peer feedback, and dedicated working time, participants will refine their thinking, pressure-test assumptions, and develop a practical path toward implementation. The workshop is available exclusively to participants in the Integrated Supply Chain Leadership Seminar and may be selected at initial registration or added later, subject to availability.
What Makes the Program Unique: Unlike traditional purchasing or logistics seminars, the Integrated Supply Chain Leadership Seminar prepares experienced professionals to lead across the enterprise. Participants explore how supply chain creates competitive advantage by integrating finance, manufacturing, operations, technology, and customer strategy while building more resilient organizations capable of competing in an increasingly dynamic global marketplace.
Core differentiator: Most supply chain programs teach how supply chains operate. This program teaches leaders how supply chains create competitive advantage.
